DFS and the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) are working on a concept for the joint use of air traffic control infrastructure to provide all airspace users with an effective, cost-efficient and sustainable solutions. The development of an infrastructure for the integration of unmanned aircraft systems is a particular challenge. Likewise, the expansion of interoperability between the systems of DFS and those of the armed forces is continuously being investigated and put into practice.
